Zero Tolerance Policy for Discrimination, Abuse, Alcohol, and Drugs – Brighton Tattoo Shop
At the Brighton Tattoo Shop, we are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all our clients and staff. To uphold these values, we have implemented a comprehensive zero-tolerance policy:
- Inclusive Environment: We welcome clients of all backgrounds, identities, and beliefs. Discrimination or harassment based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other characteristic will not be tolerated.
- Respectful Communication: We expect all interactions between clients and staff to be conducted with respect and courtesy. Verbal, physical, or emotional abuse towards any individual will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
- Safe Space: Brighton Tattoo Shop is a safe space for everyone. Any behavior that makes others feel unsafe or uncomfortable, including but not limited to intimidation, threats, or inappropriate language or gestures, will be addressed immediately.
- Zero Tolerance on Alcohol and Drugs: The consumption of alcohol or drugs on our premises is strictly prohibited. Clients who arrive for appointments under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused service and asked to leave the premises.
- Prompt Reporting: Clients who experience or witness discrimination, abuse, or violations of our alcohol and drug policy within our premises are encouraged to report the incident promptly to a member of staff. We take all reports seriously and will investigate each case thoroughly.
- Consequences: Individuals found to have engaged in discriminatory behaviour, abuse, or violation of our alcohol and drug policy will be subject to appropriate disciplinary action, which may include being asked to leave the premises and being banned from future appointments at the Brighton Tattoo Shop.
- Confidentiality: We respect the privacy of all individuals involved in reported incidents. All reports will be handled with discretion and confidentiality to the extent possible while ensuring appropriate action is taken.
By adhering to this zero-tolerance policy, we aim to foster an atmosphere of respect, acceptance, and equality within our establishment.
