1. Issuance and Redemption
- Purpose: Gift cards are available for purchase and can be redeemed for tattoo or piercing services at Brighton Tattoo Shop.
- Redemption: Gift cards can be used as full or partial payment for services. If the service cost exceeds the gift card balance, the remaining amount must be paid using another accepted payment method.
2. Expiry and Validity
- Validity Period: Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
- Extension: Requests for extensions beyond the expiry date will be considered at the shop’s discretion and must be made before the original expiry date.
3. Fees and Charges
- Activation Fees: There are no activation fees associated with purchasing a gift card.
- Dormancy Fees: Brighton Tattoo Shop does not charge any fees for inactive gift cards.
4. Refunds and Exchanges
- Non-Refundable: Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Service Issues: If there is a fault or misrepresentation in the service provided, customers may be entitled to a refund or exchange in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
5. Loss, Theft, and Damage
- Responsibility: Customers are responsible for the safekeeping of their gift cards. Brighton Tattoo Shop is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged gift cards.
- Replacement: At the shop’s discretion, and with proof of purchase, a lost or stolen gift card may be replaced.
6. Usage Terms
- Multiple Gift Cards: Customers can use multiple gift cards in a single transaction.
- Partial Redemption: If the full value of the gift card is not used in one transaction, the remaining balance will remain on the card for future use within the validity period.
7. Insolvency
- Company Status: In the event that Brighton Tattoo Shop ceases trading or enters administration, gift card holders will be considered unsecured creditors. Redeeming the full value of the gift card in such circumstances cannot be guaranteed.
8. General Terms
- Acceptance of Terms: Purchasing or using a gift card constitutes acceptance of this policy.
- Policy Amendments: Brighton Tattoo Shop reserves the right to amend this policy in compliance with UK laws. Any changes will be communicated via our website or at the point of purchase.
